Mars characteristics:
Mars is approximately half the diameter of Earth. Mars's surface area is a little less than the total area of Earth's land. Mars is bigger than mercury, even though Mercury has a greater density rate. It has two moons, Phoebos and Deimos. It is the fourth planet from the sun, and it is named after the Roman God of War. It is a terrestrial planet. Mars is the only planet that from earth you can see it's detail. It is the fourth planet closets to the sun. Mars is red because it is rusty. There is many things of iron in the soil there, the air on Mars is made and turned a red-just like rusty iron color on Earth. The atmosphere in Mars is mostly made up of carbon dioxide.
